The Salmon Bay Landing West project was conceived of being a younger sibling to the first Salmon Bay Landing project. With more street frontage and higher visibility, Salmon Bay Landing West is a bit more showy that it’s stately older brother. With dramatically flaring walls the SBL West building took formal cues from hulls of the large fishing vessels that were historically constructed on the site.
The Salmon Bay Landing West project is currently being reviewed for permits and it is anticipated that construction will begin in the early part of 2009.
The establishment of the Salmon Bay Landing West project along with the neighboring Salmon Bay Landing, Salmon Bay Marine Center and Cauquenes Building will undoubtedly create one of Seattle most attractive new office centers serving the Fisherman’s Terminal, Ballard, Magnolia and the neighboring Interbay District.
