When Stuart Silk was asked to design a new golf clubhouse, it gave him the opportunity to marry his love for golf with his passion for architecture. The Golf Club at Coastal Point is a design for an exciting new golf course on a picturesque point on the coast of Vancouver Island, B.C. Since the site is remote, the clubhouse has to provide for all of a golfer's needs, not only with a dramatic course but also through providing a restaurant, conference center, and hotel facilities for after the game. After careful research and programming, the completed design provides for a spectacular golf facility as well as a gracious retreat for guests.
