Andrew W. Patterson, Project Manager

Since joining Stuart Silk Architects in 2005, Andrew has served as a project manager for several of the largest projects in the office. Currently, Andrew’s primary project is Salmon Bay Landing, a 34,000-square-foot office condominium project near Fisherman’s Terminal.  Other recent projects include the Zhongkai Sheshan Villas and several notable residential projects.   The success of these projects is due to Andrew strong belief in teamwork and his ability to lead a team to success.  His aptitude for rational and creative thinking is reinforced with outstanding design sense, his passion for material and building technology, and his ability to communicate effectively as a team leader.

Andrew graduated from Washington State University in 2000, earning both a bachelor of architecture degree and a bachelor of science in architectural studies. As part of his studies, he optioned to spend a semester studying at the WSU Interdisciplinary Design Institute leading teams of student interior designers and landscape architects in developing large-scale projects.  He then spent time studying architecture abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, in the Danish Royal Academy’s International Studies Program.

Among his many interest and hobbies, Andrew spends his free time learning craftmanship. He enjoys woodworking and is becoming skilled at welding and metal fabrication. If not in his shop, he can be found enjoying the sun, rain, and wind of the Northwest either racing sailboats in the Puget Sound or viewing the Cascade Mountains from the driver’s seat of his Land Cruiser.
