Located on a private lane, this home faces south to take full advantage of the views of Puget Sound and Mount Rainier. The Dutch-door entry is flanked by large side windows, which bring in light and allow views through the two-story foyer, the living room, and the water beyond. The design focuses on the living room, flanked on one side by the kitchen/breakfast nook and the library and adjoining sunroom on the other. Projecting bays bring in light and views on three sides. Every effort was made to enhance the traditional handcrafted qualities of this home, including interior walls covered with simple wood paneling.
