This four-bedroom home, completed in 2008, is located on a wooded two-acre site in the Grand Ridge neighborhood of the Issaquah Highlands, and is the first 5-star Built Green home approved by King County. The owners sought to employ the latest construction methods to maximize the home's energy-efficiency & sustainability while maintaining the traditional character of an older home. They wanted an enduring, well-built home that would meet their needs for many years to come. An outline of the specific elements used on this home is listed below.
