Lakeside Estate RenovationSeattle, WA This once stately Mediterranean style home on Lake Washington designed by William Bain in the 1920s had suffered through decades of poorly executed remodels. We were asked to undo earlier transgressions and carefully restore it to its former glory. Sited on a steeply sloping hillside down to the lake, this 12,000 sq. ft. compound called for a number of alterations while remaining sensitive and as invisible as possible in our execution. In addition to restoration efforts a series of extensive interventions including a new garage/carriage house, entertainment room, entry courtyard with elevator access were required. Reconfigurations of kitchen, bathrooms, and all bedrooms were also included in our scope of work.
