Lake Washington Blvd RenovationSeattle, WA Built in 1929 this extraordinary and historically significant private residence on the shores of lake Washington required extensive careful restoration of the exterior as well as to its principal rooms. Extensive research was conducted to insure that existing architectural details were faithfully and authentically restored. Entire cornice details were removed, repaired or re-carved and then reinstalled. In addition a number of changes and were requested including a new kitchen and bedroom suites. In a grand gesture the garage was relocated to the north side of the property to provide a gracious entrance court appropriate to the exceptional nature of the home. This change had the dual consequence of opening up the views to the lake.
